Start by gazing at the fire and recognizing the power of transformation that dances within the flames.

Take a few deep breaths as you allow this fire into your body. With every breath, imagine that you are drawing the fire directly into your solar plexus.

Now, take your pen and paper and write down what you want to let go of. This could be limiting beliefs, thoughts, or actions that have been causing you emotional and physical distress, thoughts of low self-esteem, or anything else that you no longer want to hold onto.

As you write, just know that everyone is healing at different speeds, and it is natural to have difficult thoughts. Also know that you can let go of these thoughts for good, and you are about to!

Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, place your piece of paper in the fire (or burn it safely if you are using a candle at home). Watch the paper transform into ash, and as it does, feel the weight of the negative thought patterns melt away.

Now, take a new piece of paper and write some new thoughts about how you want to feel when you are in your power. Make sure these are constructive ones, thoughts that make you feel good.

Keep this new piece of paper nearby and remind yourself of what you let go of and what you are capable of as you move into the future.
