I love this mat. It functions well when laid flat, but I prefer using it set up as a small chair. It’s comfortable and has a nice appearance.

This mattress is twin-sized, possibly even XL, as it is slightly longer than my kids’ twin mattress. It is unique as it is made of rush grass on one side. It does have a smell, which to us is reminiscent of honey and tea. Initially strong, airing it out helped reduce the scent. Now, there is just a hint left that I have grown accustomed to. The Japanese style mattress isn’t the most comfortable for sleeping, but it’s excellent for back support. I mainly use it for floor stretches rather than sleeping on. It’s light, foldable, and easy to store. My mother-in-law enjoys it for sleeping when she visits. Older Asian women appreciate the flat, firm surface. It seems durable and likely to last a long time. Overall, it’s a great value and highly recommended.

I had the most amazing sleep ever on this mattress. Wow. The scent was a bit strong, but I placed lavender-scented dryer sheets all over it and then covered it with a fitted sheet to see if that would help absorb it over a few days. Edit: Unfortunately, I had to return it 🙁 the smell became too overpowering. I really wanted to keep it though.
