The packaging was a bit damaged and the box was broken, but the shoe appeared brand new and was the correct size!

I recently purchased the Altra Lone Peak 7s after researching various brands for a trail shoe suitable for Southern California’s trails. I’m thrilled with my choice! These shoes are incredibly comfortable, especially for my wider feet prone to blisters. They provide a nice cushion and accommodate foot swelling during hikes. While the toe box is wider than usual, giving the shoes a unique look, they perform exceptionally well on the trails. If you’re open to a different style of trail shoe…

These Altra Lone Peaks are a game-changer compared to my previous wide-toe shoes. The toe box is much wider, they are super comfortable with no breaking-in required, and provide great support. Perfect for trail running with excellent grip, no rubbing, and breathable. The fit is perfect for my narrow heel and wide toe area. After years of wearing the wrong shoes, I am grateful for finding these. Highly recommend and will definitely buy again. Thank you Altra for catering to us wide-toed,…

I needed a versatile shoe for both casual outings and light hiking. This shoe exceeded my expectations with its lightweight design, perfect fit, spacious toe box, and attractive appearance. The grey color is nice, but may be difficult to keep clean. They offer good traction and support for easy hikes, although I prefer more ankle support for longer or challenging trails. The tread is impressive and suitable for various walking activities. Despite having flat feet, they provide just the right…

I absolutely adore these shoes. I used to have trouble with my tennis shoes causing rubbing on my toes during long walks, even with wide sizes. But this brand’s shoes are a game-changer. They match the natural foot shape perfectly, no break-in period needed. They offer great support, good traction, and ample toe box room. I wore them on a 6-mile walk with no rubbing or soreness. Highly recommend!

    6. PB

I love them. They do feel less cushioned than other brands, but they are still super comfortable and you get used to them quickly. They are perfect for trail. The quality is quite good and you can feel the difference in the front part. Recommended.

After wearing Vivos for a while, I decided to order these shoes. They are incredibly comfortable, even more so than my Vivo Trail FGs. The sizing is accurate – I typically wear a 9 for the extra width, but a men’s 7 fits me well for the same reason. The women’s 9 size is perfect, providing plenty of width and room for my toes.

    8. Brandi Mire

This brand always meets my expectations. It’s the only brand of runners I wear.

    9. Tubbs Home

I have had several pairs of Altras, but this pair is disappointing. I bought them for a summer backpacking trip in February, but they already have a hole on the inside near the ankle. They won’t even last until my trip in July. This pair lacks the quality I expected, and I may have to look for a different brand. They are too expensive to fall apart so quickly. I recommend avoiding this version – my previous 4.5’s lasted much longer.

    10. Jenny

I absolutely love these shoes! They fit perfectly right out of the box, no need to break them in. Switching to wide toe shoes was a great decision. Altras have quickly become my new favorite. The color is ideal as I usually buy white shoes which get dirty quickly. These can get a bit dirty too, but it’s hardly noticeable!

    11. K425

I purchased these to replace my old pair from 4 years ago of the same style. The shoes are still excellent and the size remained consistent. I experimented with other wide-toe running shoes in between, but they didn’t compare. My only complaint is that the shoelaces are too short.

    12. Shayla Jacobs

These shoes are well-made with a wide natural toe box, and are comfortable. My only issue is that the laces should be longer.

    13. Susan

The shoe felt nice and comfy, but it was more white than grey as described. The toe box was roomy but looked too wide for my liking. I returned the product.
