It’s that time of year again: the time where I begin my search for the coziest yoga clothes in the world.
This article will share the best cozy yoga clothes to wear to your restorative yoga classes, and to lounge around in all winter! These clothes aren’t for sweating– they’re for relaxing. So get a mug of tea, your credit card, and read on!
Athleta Luxe Coaster joggers are, in my opinion, the best pants for restorative yoga. I think when I tried these on at the store I actually gasped. My new go-to jogger that’s perfectly soft, cozy, and still looks pretty polished. I showed these to my roommate and she said, “You could wear those to an office!”
I’m not sure about that (I’d probably try it if I had an office to go to) but as you can see, they still look really nice while being incredibly comfy. They also have deep pockets and a drawstring waist, which I love! I have the black pair, but I’m definitely lusting after the navy and charcoal heather pairs, too.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: a yoga sweater with thumbholes is everything I need and more. The Alo Haze Long Sleeve Top satisfies my thumbhole needs, plus I love the high neck and roomy fit. It’s also sweatshop free and comes in a wide variety of colors (I love the Eclipse Heather and Hunter Heather) so if you’re like me and want to buy several colors of something once you find something you love, you can!
My other favorite sweater for restorative yoga is the Coaster Luxe Sweater, yes, the counterpart to Athleta’s Luxe Coaster joggers I mentioned above. What can I say, they really hit it out of the park with this line! I have this sweater in two different colors and I still lust after the other colors whenever I go to the store. I love the thumbholes, the soft fabric, and the loose fit. It’s less polished and chic looking than the Alo Yoga one, so go with that one if you’re looking for something more versatile!
In my opinion, sweaters are really the star of the show when it comes to a restorative yoga practice. But the Beyond Yoga Women’s Deep V-Neck is incredibly soft and the perfect tank to layer under your sweater. Plus, it’s cute enough to where off the mat as well.
Socks are honestly key when it comes to a restorative yoga practice. Does anyone else’s feet freeze if you don’t have a thick pair on?
These aren’t related to yoga at all, but the J.Crew camp socks have been my go-to thick, cozy socks for winter and fall since my preppy days in college. If you get nothing else from this list, get these. Your feet will seriously thank you!
