These shoes are incredibly comfortable and well-made, definitely worth the investment. I’ve been wearing them daily for 2 years and they’re starting to show some wear, but it’s only cosmetic. I prefer using them without the insole for added comfort and better ground feel. I can’t say for sure how long they’ll hold up for running, but I plan to use my older pair when I start running again. Thank you, Xero Shoes, for your quality products.

I purchased these shoes in August 2023. By January, the sole of the right shoe came off halfway. After 3 months, the sides started to break on both shoes where you bend your toes. Despite claiming to withstand 5000 miles, I haven’t even reached 1000 miles. I contacted Xero for an exchange under guarantee, but received no response.

I love these shoes! They are incredibly comfortable and flexible. The sole is just the right thickness – you can feel the ground without feeling every little rock. The wider toe box is perfect. They fit true to size and look good. The only small issue is that the outer sides at the ankles come up a bit higher than I prefer.

I have been wearing these shoes almost every day for over a year now. It took some time to get used to them, but eventually my feet adjusted. Now, regular shoes feel odd and it’s like walking on bricks. Unfortunately, they are wearing out faster than I expected. The tread is only worn down on the ball of the foot and has started to separate after 3-6 months. They don’t look great now with holes forming above the big toe on both feet. Overall, they are nice shoes but I wish they were more…

  5. Justin U.

I have been using these shoes for the past 4 months for all activities, including running and long walks. I have covered close to 1000 miles in them and the wear on the sole and insole is minimal. The shoes fit perfectly, allowing my feet to move freely and stretch naturally. They are breathable and odor-resistant, even for my normally stinky feet. Very worth the money spent, and I will definitely purchase another pair when these wear out.

  6. CE

I own two pairs of these shoes. They fit well, are comfortable, and very lightweight.

  7. Brian

Great choice to have your fingers free and they look good.

  8. Michael Smith

Great lightweight option that packs down small for travel. The wide toe box is perfect for those with wide feet.

  9. Stephen A. Means

These might just be my all-time favorite shoes.

  10. Emmanuel Gomez Villagomez

I use these shoes for heavy lifting in the gym, particularly squats and lunges. They provide excellent support for my wide foot. Performing heavy lifts feels very stable in them, yet they also allow for running on the treadmill.

I have tried several barefoot and minimalist shoes, and these are by far the best. They resemble regular shoes the most, fit well, are comfortable, offer half sizes, and are also affordable. I use them for trail hiking, gym workouts, and everyday activities. While I’m not a runner, I have used them for trail runs and they perform well. These shoes are simply awesome!

This is my 4th pair of barefoot shoes. I’ve had feet problems for years so I switched to cycling and kayaking. Since wearing barefoot shoes, my feet have greatly improved. The all black look is great for the office. The zero-drop sole is very thin, especially without the insole. They lace up nicely and have good grip, but they squeak. They seem well-made and are overall comfortable. However, they are a bit pricey and there are concerns about durability. I will update if they fall apart…
