I purchased 9 different UPF lightweight jackets and decided to keep two that are very similar. They both offer UPF protection, finger holes, and zipper pockets, which are features I wanted. I returned the ones with hoods as I preferred a hoodless design. Here are the jackets I returned with brief comments:

The color is great and provides excellent skin coverage. The visor arrived folded and was unable to be straightened. Unlike similar jackets that have a ponytail hole, this one only has a pouch with a loop. Nonetheless, I still really like this lightweight jacket with great colors.

The fabric quality is very poor. The sun protection claim was not accurate when tested with a UVA/UVB sticker. The fabric is thin and cheap, the hood has an odd shape that cannot be bent or folded, and it runs very small.

The product looks good and feels good. It moves with you and doesn’t restrict movement at all. I use it outdoors, on its own or over a t-shirt for full sun activities, particularly paddleboarding. It can be warm if it’s not too windy, and it’s usually cool enough for full sun. I love the hood, visor, and zip-up pockets.

I am 5’5″ and 115 pounds. I bought a Small size. I was worried the sleeves might be too short but they fit perfectly. The pockets have zippers. When fully zipped with the hood up, the zipper goes up to my nose. Even when zipped, there’s a comfortable elastic around the face so you can pull it down under your chin. It’s light enough for summer. The detachable bill is great for providing shade and keeping rain and sun off your face. Overall, it’s a perfect product!
