The cover is smooth, however the filling is thin. It feels overpriced for what it offers, more like a $20 product. I am not enjoying it, so my cat now sleeps on it instead.

I was pleasantly surprised by this product and fell in love with it right away. It is a great size, very soft to the touch, and complements my Ajna meditation cushion perfectly. It motivates me to use it. I cannot praise it enough. I am thrilled. It even arrived in a re-sealable vacuum sealed bag! Excellent job all around, I must say.

I have concrete floors in my office, so I placed a thick area rug. I meditate on it with my round meditation pillow, and it’s the perfect height and color. It’s soft, yet provides cushioning for my knees. It arrived in a small package, which was convenient to bring to the office. I love it so much that I’m getting one for home use too.

The zabuton meditation mat is thick and fills the casing well. The one bought from Amazon had to be exchanged due to poor shape, but the second one was worse. Purchasing directly from the Anja Wellness website resulted in a perfectly packaged mat. The difference in quality can be seen in the images provided. The mat from Amazon had permanent wrinkles and marks, while the one from Anja was in much better condition. For a better product, buy directly from Anja.
