I purchased the Dark Navy BDU Shorts because they were listed as being made in the USA, but the tag indicates they are from Haiti. In terms of sizing, I measured my waist at 34 inches, and the Medium size with the straps adjusted has a bit more room, up to 35 inches. The quality is good overall for BDU shorts, with a nice appearance and fabric, but there are some minor finishing details like loose threads that need trimming.

The absence of an official size chart makes it challenging to order these shorts. With a 35-inch waist, I typically wear size 36 from Propper or size 34 from TruSpec or 5.11. Propper now offers these BDU shorts in small-medium-large sizes, which resulted in significant size discrepancies. These shorts were nice. I returned them because the cargo pockets could not be fully opened. The front of the pocket flaps were sewn down, preventing total access to the compartment. However, they did seem to be well made.

The BDU shorts arrived sooner than expected, well-packaged in a sealed plastic bag within the Amazon box. The shorts matched the description perfectly, featuring durable materials, quality stitching, and an above-average design. I appreciated the zipper fly over the button fly for convenience. After soaking and washing the shorts to soften the fabric, they were much more comfortable. Be cautious of the initial brown water when washing. The material is lightweight yet very sturdy. I have two older pairs that have lasted a long time. There is plenty of room for my athletic size 36 legs and buttocks in the large size. The buttons are sewn on, so they may need to be re-sewn over time. Overall, these shorts are very good quality and offer excellent value.

Stage 3 –
I purchased these based on the description stating they are 100% cotton. However, what I received was 65% polyester and 35% cotton, which is not ideal for a hot, humid Australian summer. Another review mentioned receiving 100% cotton instead. I am unsure if this discrepancy is due to packing or the product design.

Very good Propper brand official shorts, cut from original Bdu, the durability is present as on uniform models. For a 42/43 Europe size, prefer a M… because the US size 44 is really big on these models… Otherwise, top-notch seller and customer service (not being present on the day of delivery by FedEx, it was the seller who took care to contact me and not FedEx… serious service!!!) Only slight negative point, rather long delivery time… but it’s just a detail… Careful and serious…

I love these pants because they are comfortable. They are made of polycotton ripstop material which I find comfortable, but it may vary for others. I purchased them to replace some surplus ones that were thinner, and they fit the same size. I don’t pull them up all the way, and they don’t have a gusset, in case that is important to you.

These work/hiking shorts are of good quality with a nice finish, better than others at the same price.
Savage Beast –
These shorts are similar to BDU pants but without a button fly. They fit well and are comfortable, although the small size is tighter than small BDU pants. The sizing recommendation didn’t work for me as I’m tall and have a narrow frame. With a 29-30 waist, the small size fits perfectly without a belt and accommodates my muscular legs despite needing to fit my waist.
