I had only used a kapok-filled zafu before, but this new zafu is a much better fit for me. The larger seat and perfect alignment make it comfortable for longer periods of sitting. The buckwheat hull fill adds stability, and the orange color is a nice touch.

The option to adjust the buckwheat filling has helped me achieve better symmetry for spine and pelvic alignment. I also like that the outer cover is removable for washing. The firmness may not suit everyone, but it can be adjusted by removing some filling and shifting the seating surface. I’m unsure if the crescent shape made a difference for me. Well-crafted and more appealing than other similar products I’ve seen.

A delight for my back, placed right on my chair. I chose buckwheat for the fineness of its grains and its firmness. Easy to position due to its size, holds up very well, firm for me (perfect), black color to match any surface. I just regret that the material catches a few lint, but it’s minor compared to the comfort it provides. Thank you!
