I own the previous version of this shoe and find that both versions run small. I recommend getting a half size bigger than usual. The HFS II is quite different from the original – it is not necessarily an upgrade. The original is great for barefoot running with its thin sole that allows you to feel the ground. However, it can be tiring for all-day wear. The HFS II, on the other hand, has a stiffer sole that is suitable for various activities like hiking, walking, work, and social events. It…

I bought them second hand and despite the box being slightly damaged, the shoes were perfect. I paid a ridiculously low amount for their quality. They are super comfortable, flexible, and feel like good quality. I ran 20 kms today and around 60 in total, and I am very happy with them. I used to wear Merrel Glove, also comfortable, but I think the Xero shoes are even more minimalist, with even less structure. Overall, both are great options for barefoot running. The Xero HFS is the 10th pair of Xero shoes in my household of 5. It stands out from other barefoot shoes with its zero drop, wide toe box, lightweight design, and excellent ground feel. It provides just enough foot protection without compromising the barefoot running experience. As an older runner, I appreciate this subtle balance to stay healthy and active without risking injuries. The HFS looks and feels great to run in, and is reasonably priced compared to other brands.

These shoes are perfect for flat feet. I didn’t experience any discomfort or need to adjust. I used to get cramps after walking for just 20 minutes in regular shoes, but with these, I can walk for much longer. I chose Xero for their reputation and commitment to quality. I have two pairs and appreciate their 5000-mile warranty. While the shoes show wear after some miles, the support team honored the warranty. I love the comfort but hope for improved sole technology.
