I wanted to try a kneeling meditation bench to relieve pressure on my feet from sitting meditation. This bench exceeded my expectations with its sturdy bamboo construction. Despite concerns about rocking, it stays stable during use. The hinges are stiff, preventing any collapsing issues. There was a learning curve, but now I find it comfortable for my sessions. It helps maintain good posture, and I’m satisfied with the purchase for its value.

The bench is of good quality, but the folding legs require adjustment each time for stability. I plan to add glue to keep them open. It would be helpful if the manufacturer included a locking mechanism. I am 5ft 6 inches tall and found the bench comfortable, but wished for a bit more height. I made a cushion to adjust the height, which worked well. The curved feet allow for some height adjustment, but I needed a little more.

I am puzzled by the negative reviews about this bench. My bench looks very much like the one in the picture. I am still trying to find the best sitting posture for myself. The bench is nice, but the small screws are concerning. It felt unstable and could easily tear the screws out with just the right amount of pressure. I returned it and got a different type of bench due to this design flaw common in similar benches.
