I can’t vouch for the product’s safety, but as a 150lb individual who practices within 5-6 feet off the ground, I found these silks to be adequate. They have good stretch and have survived being washed in the machine. I recommend them if you’re just testing the waters. The aerial hammock practice makes me feel alive and free! I bought this starter kit to bring the studio experience home and I’m glad I did. The silks are stretchier and more performance-quality than the studio ones, which can dig in a bit, but offer more movement freedom. The kit has everything to hang from a tree, but you’ll need more hardware for ceiling hanging. After six months, they’re holding up well, even catching on tree bark without damage. I’m pleased and excited to have this at home.
